Dear Parents and Guardians:
We hope that this message finds you well. It has been a challenging last couple of months, to say the least. But as our state moves forward we are following the guidance from CDC and the department of health. In our New York Safety Plan as per the recommendations from CDC our personnel receive the children at the door and they are signing in and out for the parents. Health checks and temperature checks are conducted daily upon entering the program. In addition, we have asked parents to wait outside at a distance of 6 feet while waiting for their children to enter and exit the program by the entrance door. Our staff are checked before entering the program everyday and change into their uniforms afterwards.
As per CDC and DOH must recommendations there are no visitors allowed to the program as until further notice. Our program follows the guidance for cleaning and disinfecting for congregate settings for the covid-19.
Hand hygiene such as regular washing with soap and water for 2o seconds. Washing the hands before eating, after blow of the nose, after using the restroom, before handling food and after touching shared toys and other equipment. We are following the CDC and DOH routine cleaning frequently throughout the day and keep a log of the times all the areas are wiped cleaned and the frequency. For example, door knobs, light switches, handles, vacuuming and floor cleaning. In addition, the removal of trash, cleaning the restrooms, wiping tables, chairs, desks,, faucets and surfaces.
We are beyond thrilled to gather with our community and we want to let you know of the precautions we are taking to ensure the safety of all of our children and staff in our program.
New Program Hours are from 8am to 6pm
Children have a daily routine, so therefore they have upto 9:30 am to come in, and if they will be late because of an appointment the program must be notified in advance.
